This designation is part of a statewide process that supports schools in continuing to grow and strengthen their programs. We are confident that the supports already in place will ensure a positive, high-quality learning experience for every student, and our staff remains fully committed to your child’s success.

  Respect for All Week (February 9–13, 2026) celebrates kindness, inclusion, and acceptance across our school community. Throughout the week, students and staff will participate in themed days and activities focused on anti-bullying, cultural diversity, LGBTQ+ pride, and building empathy—reminding us to always be on our Blackwell best.

  Elizabeth Blackwell Middle School is partnering with Elevate Education to offer a series of virtual family support workshops. These sessions are designed to help parents reinforce essential academic and social-emotional skills at home.

• Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy

  Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, in accordance with New York State law, New York City Public Schools is updating its policy regarding the use of personal internet-enabled electronic devices—including cell phones—in school.
  As in prior years, MS 210Q will implement Yondr pouches for electronic device storage throughout the school day.
