Calling all families! Share your voice and help shape your child’s school by completing the 2026 NYC School Survey. Your feedback provides valuable insight that school leaders use to celebrate strengths and make meaningful improvements.
The survey is quick and easy to complete online. Visit NYCSchoolSurvey.org, click on “Take the 2026 NYC School Survey,” enter your access code (a lowercase “f” followed by your student’s OSIS number, found on their report card, student ID card, or NYCSA account), and submit your responses.
Your input matters—every response helps strengthen our school community.

Conversations with the Chancellor
Join Chancellor Kamar H. Samuels for a series of in-person conversations across New York City focused on the future of our public schools. Conversations with the Chancellor is a citywide community engagement series hosted by the New York City Department of Education. These public conversations bring together students, families, educators, staff, and community partners with the Schools Chancellor to discuss critical school issues, share ideas, and build stronger partnerships. The goal is to listen, learn, and work together on topics like safety, academic excellence, and meaningful family participation in shaping the future of NYC public schools.

Respect for All Week (February 9–13, 2026) celebrates kindness, inclusion, and acceptance across our school community. Throughout the week, students and staff will participate in themed days and activities focused on anti-bullying, cultural diversity, LGBTQ+ pride, and building empathy—reminding us to always be on our Blackwell best.

Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy
Beginning in the 2025-26 school year, in accordance with New York State law, New York City Public Schools is updating its policy regarding the use of personal internet-enabled electronic devices—including cell phones—in school.
As in prior years, MS 210Q will implement Yondr pouches for electronic device storage throughout the school day.
